Google Nexus 4 ‘Leaked’ by UK Website

The British company Carphone Warehouse’s website, dedicated to telecommunications, unveiled in error today the details of the Google Nexus smart phone 4, which will be officially launched next Monday and was developed by LG. On the website, you could check the pictures, product features and even pre-order  the smartphone for a few hours until the company realized the mistake and pulled the ad off their site, according to British media reports.

“Unfortunately, a page in our website for pre-ordering of a new phone was activated prematurely.We have corrected the error and apologize for the confusion caused, “said Carphone Warehouse in a brief statement. However, the error allowed to know many details of the device due on Monday in New York.

The phone, which will work with the Android operating system, will have a touch screen of 4.7 inches (10.2 centimeters) and 1280 × 720 pixels resolution. It will be equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with an application to take 360 degree panoramic photos.

This leak is the second one that Google suffers in a week, after erroneously publishing its quarterly results on October 18th, which led to a temporary suspension of its shares.
