2018 Razer Gaming Laptop Releases

Through the years, Razer has provided the gaming industry with cutting-edge technology. The company continues to keep mum about upcoming releases, but based on their track record, the next installments should easily outclass the current ones in every aspect. While waiting for Razer’s 2018 line-up, here are two of the company’s best gaming units that might get an upgrade this year:

Razer Blade

Who would’ve thought that all those high-end gaming components can be condensed into a 0.70-inch unibody? Best known for its ultra-thin build, the Razer Blade is one of the most powerful and good-looking laptops in the market.

Design

The latest addition to the series, which hit the shelves in 2017, comes with a 14-inch screen and two display options: a 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS Matte Display and a 3840 x 2160 4K UHD Touch Display. While the former ensures consistent colors, quality video, and blur-free gaming, the latter provides insane color intensity and hyper-realistic sharpness.

Performance

Despite its svelte frame, the 2017 Razer Blade is built for power and better visuals. It is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU and a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor. It provides smooth and high-quality content and delivers an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) gaming experience.

The downside of the Razer Blade is that there are very limited upgrade options. Not to mention, the fans can get quite noisy. Hopefully, the 2018 Razer Blade will have a ton of upgrades and have these few cons fixed.

Razer Blade Pro

Measuring at 0.88 inches, the Blaze Pro is an incredibly compact and powerful laptop that performs at desktop-level.

Design

The Razer Blade Pro pretty much looks like its smaller counterpart, the Razer Blade, except that it is wider and slightly heavier. With a massive 17.3-inch display, the laptop is ideal for gaming. It can either come with a 120 Hz IPS Matte Display or an Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) Touchscreen Display. It’s your choice. The matte finish makes for great viewing, but the 8.3 million pixels from the 4K touchscreen just makes visuals downright stunning.

Performance

With the latest installment powered by a Quad-Core 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor, you won’t have any trouble dealing with any AAA gaming title. Moreover, the Blade Pro is THX Certified, which means it provides the best visuals not only for gaming but for viewing videos or for creating content. Like its smaller cousin, this is VR-capable.

Since the Blade Pro is armed with top-tier components, it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. At times, it can be off-putting. But if you want the best, it won’t come cheap. Whether you’re thinking of buying the latest Blade or Blade Pro computers or waiting to get your hands on the next generation units, these gaming laptops will not disappoint.

If you’re thinking of buying one of these why don’t you purge yourself of unused electronics? Sell used laptop units or trade them for gift cards. Save up for a Razer gaming laptop.
