Any expert that sells electronics knows that tuning into any of Apple’s big events always pays off, knowing that it’s always the best time to stay updated on what the tech giant is up to. And after hearing what Apple had to say, the time spent paying attention to the event sure was worth it.

Here’s everything you need to know from Apple’s most recent announcements:

  • Consumer privacy is still a top priority.

Recent conflicts between Apple and the US government has made iPhone users fear for their privacy and safety. Federal courts have ordered Apple to let the government break into their encryption system, something that Apple head Tim Cook has firmly said no to. So when Cook took to the stage in the recent Apple event, he once again declared their stand to protect their users’ privacy, promising that they will never shrink from this responsibility.

  • New fruity bands available for the Apple Watch.

Not only has the Apple Watch become cheaper (with the price dropping down to just $299), new colorful bands are also available. The new line of bands are made of woven nylon, adding more texture to the watch’s look. The colors are also bright and fun, coming in a variety of rainbow-inspired fruity colors.

  • New updates on the Apple TV.

It seems that Apple has never stopped making the Apple TV better as they announce a few new features. For one thing, users will now be able to dictate usernames, passwords, and other text to the device. It now also gives the ability to add folders right to the home screen. An exclusive app perfect for those who want to watch multiple games called March Madness was also introduced, allowing users to have two different games on the screen, and to have games updates scrolling at the bottom in case they swap one of the games with another one.

  • New product released in the form of the iPhone SE.

Apple also sent a huge surprise to the entire community with its release of the iPhone SE, a 4- inch phone with almost the same capabilities as an iPhone 6s but with the well-loved size and feel of the iPhone 5s. Orders started pouring in last 24 th of March, and it is expected that the products should start reaching the hands of their owners a week after the orders are placed.

  • A new iOS version is released.

iOS 9.3 has been released, and although there are new features, there’s nothing out of the box. One feature is Night Shift, which makes the display a little warmer in appearance the moment the sun sets. Basically, it reduces the blue light that is said to keep people from sleeping properly. Other additions include password-protected Notes and updates on CarPlay.

  • A new 10-inch iPad Pro is now available.

Basically doing the same thing they did with the iPhone SE, they are packing the features of their last successful iPad release into a smaller frame. The 10-inch iPad Pro will be 40% less reflective, 25% brighter, and will have twice the audio volume of the iPad Air 2 despite the same size.

Definitely a power-packed event, all these Apple announcements have once again made people even more excited about more things in store for them. And with the rumors about a new iPhone being released later this year, who wouldn’t be?
