The Government will not authorize new operations until the accident of this Monday is clarified.
Russia has suspended the throwings of the spatial rockets Proton – M until it concludes the investigation of the accident of last Monday, in which three satellites got lost after the rocket exploded seconds after its blast-off, announced today the Russian deputy prime minister, Dmitri Rogozin.
“The throwings of the rockets Proton – M are suspended until the causes of the accident clear up”, said Rogozin quoted by the agency(office) Interfax, during a meeting(convocation) of the Russian Government.
In turn, the chief of the Russian spatial agency(office) (Roscosmos), Vladimir Popovkin, needed(specified) the journalists that the investigation will conclude “throughout this July”.
At the same time, Poopvkin discarded that the pompous accident affects to the throwing of the Module of Multifunctional Laboratory (MLM) towards the International Space station (EEI), foreseen for the next December.

Seconds, after detaching from the cosmodrome of Baikonur (Kazakhstan), the rocket that had to put in orbit three satellites Glonass-M for the system of Russian position Glonass, (similar to the American GPS), it turned aside of its vertical trajectory and smashed against the soil causing a gigantic explosion.
The investigation commission has stated that the rocket was thrown before time and has considered between the preliminary versions of the catastrophe mistakes in the system of starter, the system of direction(leadership) or the engine of the first stage of the Proton – M.
