Missing just one day to another coup Samsung on the table and present the expected Galaxy S IV. Officially confirmed only one thing: the date of the event, on Thursday 14th from 18:00 pm in New York (00:00 CET). The rest is all speculation and rumor, but if you look at previous releases, a good portion of them just on target. What is the design? How is the camera? • When is it available? Below we tell you what we know so far.
availability
If we look at the past, Samsung phones usually go on sale about a month and a half or two months after the official announcement, first in Europe and then in the U.S. That would put us around in Europe in May and late May-early June across the pond.
name
Anything can happen, but in principle there is no reason to believe that Samsung renumbered. It is almost certain to be called Samsung Galaxy S IV, and S4. Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has a S4 in the Galaxy S III LG Google selling Nexus 4 …. Samsung is best with the S IV.
design
One of the points of debate. The design of the Galaxy S III polycarbonate (pictured below) has an advantage: it is tough, no matter how many times you drop the phone. The downside is “plasticoso” kill ugly compared to other new designs in aluminum, like the HTC One or the iPhone 5.
Reliable information on the design of the Galaxy IV is negligible. The newly announced Galaxy Note 8.0 maintains the same plastic body that the S III, so it would not be unreasonable for us to see him like the S IV. Hopefully not, but it can be. Why not hope? Because if it looks like the last pictures we have seen these days, the disappointment may be sound:
For the optimists, for days seeped these designs / illustrations, with a more rectangular Galaxy S IV:
screen
Looks like S IV screen will be larger than its predecessor. The most reliable rumors point to a 5-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a pixel density of 440 per inch FullHD screen instead of AMOLED.
This is a key point. The competition now in display quality is high, especially in the hands of HTC Z One and the Sony Xperia, both with FullHD screen.
camera
Keeping an eye on the competition, the Galaxy S III camera now is pretty bad for a high-end mobile. Nokia, with its technology PureView, or HTC, with ultrapíxeles, have taken a major step forward in this area.
Some rumors suggest the S IV camera of 13 megapixels, just the same resolution as the Sony Xperia Z or the Huawei Ascend P2. Samsung is expected to present a new type of processing technology and image management.
battery
Little progress on this front by all manufacturers. But it is clear that Samsung will increase the battery capacity of 2100 mAh in the current S III to a battery of 2,400 to 2,600 mAh. What does that mean? With all the added screen, processor and features, do not expect the phone last much longer than 1 day to full use. Hopefully.
Operating System and Hardware
Android (obviously) and more than likely be the last version, 4.2. Google announced the next version of Android-Key Lime Pie-in May but will not be ready in time for the launch of the Galaxy S. Samsung has begun to integrate some software products and services themselves, as S-Voice. We will see many more in the new terminal. One of the rumors is Samsung Orb, a function to capture 360-degree panoramas.
As far as hardware is likely to have two versions, one for LTE and other territories for markets that do not yet have the connection. In LTE markets the company may opt for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, the same as using the HTC One
