Rumors that Apple is developing a smart watch has been confirmed by the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. The company seems to keep looking to open new markets after the establishment with products ranging from computers (computing), ipods (music), iPhones (telecommunications) and tablets. According to the NYT:
Apple is experimenting with devices like wristwatches made of curved glass, according to people familiar with the explorations of the company, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about unreleased products. This watch would operate in the Apple iOS platform, two people said, and be distinguished from the competition based on understanding of company, as glass can be bent around the human body.
This is not the first time that it is rumored that Apple is developing a smart watch. Since the company redesigned the iPod Nano, and other companies adopted ways to use the device as a watch, it has been rumored that Apple would launch its own version. However, it has been known that in the past has experienced several Apple products unintentionally put on the market. Even some employees work in fake products for months. Up to now there is no evidence that e clock will go on sale.
