Do you prefer big mobile phones? If yes, then you’re one of the millions who like their smartphone large and powerful. Sleek, compact phones have their own special appeal. But large smartphones are more ideal for various reasons.

Smartphones with large displays are the answer to failing eyesight. They work best for users with bigger hands or fat fingers. They are also the choice of those who are into mobile gaming or video streaming.

Consumers have the option to go for smartphones or phablets. Phablets are phone-tablets which have similar features as your regular smartphone. However, phablets consume more power because they have bigger screens. Both options have high price tags.

If you want a large smartphone or a phablet but only have a limited budget, don’t fret. Samsung offers a more budget-friendly line of smartphones that are packed with features including that big screen. In particular, Samsung’s J-Series of handsets have become buzzwords for fantastic reasons:

Samsung Galaxy J5

The J5 released in 2017 comes with a “heavy-duty” battery. It features a stunning 720p Super AMOLED that rivals and wins out over other colored LCD displays in the market today.

The camera has been upgraded with a better sensor that matches perfectly with an awesome display meant for showcasing eye-catching photos. With the Galaxy J5, you stand out more on Instagram with each snap.

Samsung Galaxy J7

The J7 is one of the most recommended in this affordable line of smartphones from Samsung. Released in 2017, the J7 is big, but it doesn’t break the bank. There are different versions available from providers like AT&T, Verizon, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, and Boostmobile in the US and in other markets worldwide. There is also a premium unlocked version available on the Samsung website.

The J7 is packed with a 5.5-inch HD screen with 720 x 1280 resolution, 3 GB of memory, 32 GB storage, and a 3,300 mAH battery. Compared to previous models, the Galaxy S7 with a 5.2-inch screen and the Galaxy S8 with a 5.8-inch display, the J7 is a very good choice with its price tag ranging from $160 to $220.

2018 Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro

The J2 Pro is the latest among the affordable Samsung smartphones with large displays. This one features 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, 1.5 GB RAM, and 16 GB storage. There are separate, dedicated slots for dual SIMs and for microSD expansion up to 256 GB, giving you plenty of flexibility.

In addition, the J2 Pro features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 960 x 540 resolution. The 5MP front camera has its own flash. The camera at the back shoots at 8MP and records 1080p video. The battery is packed with 2,600 mAH of power. As with all the other Samsung smartphones, the J2 Pro has a headphone jack.

So, if you’re looking to buy a new smartphone soon and you’re concerned about your budget, you can check out any of the Samsung J-Series models. Whatever your requirements are, any of these big but affordable phones would definitely be a good choice for you. These phones won’t crash your credit or burn your wallet. They’d simply give you what you want: a Samsung phone, a huge screen, and a budget-friendly device.
