In the advent of ever-growing smartphone technology, it is almost impossible to decide what phone to purchase. There are far too many choices in the market today, and each one serves a special purpose just like the others.

Apple has held a great reputation for its smartphones. You see people with iPhones on every corner in every country all over the world. And if you’ve never owned one, perhaps you’ve always wanted to join the fad.

Markets that sell iPhone units have to catch up with the rapid model releases. With such a variety, how are you going to choose the one that’s right for you and your preferences? In this article, we will tackle how you should choose the best iPhone model for you.

The variety of models—from the C and S series to the Plus series—have made choosing an iPhone even more complicated. The thing is you have to know what feature matters to you the most.

Do you badly want one that has a fingerprint scanner? Or perhaps you only want a basic phone that you can use to call and text? Is it really that important for you to get the biggest and latest model?

Let us have a quick run-through of the pros and cons of two of the top iPhone models today.

If you want one that has adapted the latest phone technology, then the obvious choice would be the iPhone X. It has cool features like face recognition, which you can use to unlock your phone and confirm your Apple Pay transactions.

Its OLED 5.8-inch screen also looks great as it extends from edge to edge. If you are someone who loves to play mobile games and watch videos, then you will enjoy this feature.

Wireless charging is also enabled for iPhone X. All you’ll need is a charging pad and you can continue enjoying your new phone.

One of the big concerns you might have with the X model, though, is its price. Current prices start at $999 and go up to around $1,149. If you are on a budget, then you may have to rethink purchasing this. It is recorded as the most expensive iPhone ever released by Apple.

Meanwhile, there is the iPhone 8 Plus. Because it’s also relatively new, its features are very similar to the iPhone X.

iPhone 8 Plus doesn’t have a face recognition feature, but it has a 2nd generation fingerprint scanner. With this, you will only need to touch your home button to unlock your phone and pay through Apple Pay.

The screen is just a little smaller than the X’s edge-to-edge display. This handset is quite cheaper than the iPhone X, priced at around $799.

It’s a pretty close fight between the iPhone X and 8 Plus in terms of features, but we hope this guide helps you weigh your options. Happy iPhone hunting!
