New Updates on iPhone 7 Based on the Recent Leaked Photos

Every iPhone release has had its fair share of leaked photos and design rumors, and the iPhone 7 slotted to be released in September is no different. In fact, experts that sell iPhone units and accessories have encountered so many inquiries as early as now, with people confirming whether the rumors they hear are true.

Although there is no way to confirm the full details of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus until Apple personally releases their own set of photos through official ads, marketing stints, and press releases, nobody really knows for sure. For now, these assumptions based on leaked photos would have to suffice.

No Headphone Jack

Leaked photos show that the iPhone 7 is definitely thinner than its predecessor, something that was made possible through the absence of the headphone jack. And it is true, that when you look closely at photos released online, there is no sign of the traditional round headphone jack. What are the implications of losing this crucial part of the smartphones makeup?

Well, there are still two ways to listen to use headphones with the iPhone 7 if this turns out to be accurate. You can either use Bluetooth headphones, or use headphones that use the lightning port (which is comparatively thinner than a usual headphone jack).

Camera Upgrade

Based on leaked photos, it seems that the camera on the iPhone 7 is larger than the previous models, which signifies a huge upgrade in terms of capability. This seems to go hand in hand with the fact that Apple has acquired Linx a few years back, which could possibly change the way smartphone cameras are used.

Linx is a company that specializes in giving smartphones DSLR-level performance without compromising their thinness. Their technology makes it possible to improve color and reduce noise without having to add bulky hardware that would make handsets bigger and thicker.

Redesigned Home Button

Another thing that leaked photos show is the redesigned home button that could change the way iPhones work. These photos show that the button seems to be perfectly level with the entire surface, and cannot be pressed. This only leads to one thing a touch sensitive home button that would require tapping actions.

This definitely makes sense, knowing that the home button is one of the first things to give out on older iPhone units. The action of pressing the button too many times in a day could cause unnecessary strain on the unit, after all. This is exactly why Apple has provided Assistive Touch on all of their units, which serves as an alternative when the home button stops working.

With these three major changes to the iPhone, it is not surprising that people are starting to anticipate the release of the iPhone 7 even more. If any of these rumors turn out to be true, Apple could very well change the smartphone game and start creating an even bigger competition. These changes could also stump previous rumors that there is nothing special at all with the new release.
