Twitter launches social #music service

Finally available for (almost) all Twitter # music, a new service that promises to change the way people find music.

The songs on Twitter # music today come from three sources: iTunes, Spotify or Rdio. By default you can listen to snippets of songs from iTunes to browse music from the application. The Rdio and Spotify subscribers can log in your account to enjoy the songs that are available in their respective catalogs.

Therefore, if you are interested in the songs that have been tweeted artists and people you follow on Twitter, you can browse at # nowplaying to see and listen songs. Or if you want to know the best song about a band or artist you just have to enter your profile with this application.

Of course, you can tweet about the songs you hear. The bad news is that, for now, only available for iOS. Although also a web version via music.twitter.com, the service is only available in the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
