Let’s face it. We expected more from Samsung at the launch of Galaxy S4. A S3 S4 so similar to that almost look the same? None? Novelty in design and specifications and software only? The problem is that developments in software, by themselves, do not sell phones, we usually leave parked on mobile. And the specifications either. They help, but not enough. The smartphones catch the eye and wallet, for the price. There, in the price, is where Samsung can do damage with the S4. Failing to thoroughly test the new creation of Samsung, HTC and watching the One, the Xperia Z or even the Z10, the S4 we know little. Very little. What do you think?
Funny how the two absolute leaders market, Apple and Samsung, are being quite conservative with their new models. And yet, they work. The initial disappointment with the iPhone 5 was important, but it has sold like hotcakes. Samsung Apple seems to want to imitate that.
If the S4 leaves us cold is what is around. The HTC One, for example, is one of the phones with more personality and more impressive design we have seen. You can read our whole analysis here. And BlackBerry, Sony and Nokia are also risking their proposals. Normal, they have no choice.
